LS: Conversations' Etiquette (8-12 yrs)

Service Description

Welcome to "the Etiquette Factory: Conversation Etiquette" class. In this session students will learn skills that will help them continue improving their conversations. I will be using a variety of videos, discussions, role-playing and optional after-class questions via an online subscription to reinforce concepts learned in class. This class will help students develop good habits, manners, and etiquette while having a conversation. Manners are important because they help build character, self-esteem and good relationships in general, but most importantly they show others they are important to you. Class minimum of 5 students. Topics in this session: Week 1: Conversation Etiquette/balance in conversation Week 2: Think Before We Speak/never reveal a confidence Week 3: Interrupting/ Conversation "No -No's Week 4: Entering Group Conversation Week 5: Exiting Group Conversation Week 6: Filtering Our Conversation/ Appropriate Gender Conversation Week 7: Telephone Manners /Safety Week 8: Potty Mouth/Good Behavior While Others are on the Phone
